1981 | RUPERT HINE : I HANG ON TO MY VERTIGO

Robert Hine was one of the most prolific British musicians, producers, and songwriters.

By the time of his death in June 2020, he had worked on over 100 records.

He produced and collaborated on albums by artists such as Tina Turner, Howard Jones, Rush, Thompson Twins, Stevie Nicks, Underworld, The Waterboys, Suzanne Vega, The Fixx, Dusty Springfield, The Power Station, and many, many others.

But Hine also had a prolific recording career as a musician, both with the band Quantum Jump — in the early ’70s — and with Thinkman — in the mid-’80s — as well as a solo artist, with several albums released under his own name.

In March 2015, Esoteric Recordings released Unshy on the Skyline, a compilation that brings together three albums Hine recorded between 1981 and 1983: Immunity, Waving Not Drowning, and The Wildest Wish to Fly.

Mas Hine teve também uma prolífica carreira discográfica como músico, tanto com a banda Quantum Jump — no início dos 70s — como com os Thinkman  — em meados dos 80s — ou a solo, com vários discos gravados em nome próprio.
